The founders of Arlan Willow, Rob and Brad, have been running online websites and stores since 2003 when the internet was young. Being passionate about creating a wonderful haven for their loved ones in their own homes and being astonished by the ridiculous mark-up on most furniture available in-store led them to the idea of disrupting the industry via online boutique furniture and homeware retail so that the more beautiful and rare pieces became more affordable.


The rest is history and Arlan Willow is now one of the fastest growing online furniture and homeware stores with customers from all over our wonderful country.

Wherever we can, we do our part to help improve the planet. Sometimes this is in the way we package items, sometimes this is using carbon efficient transport. Often this means sourcing locally however when some of our unique pieces come from overseas, we work out how to get them as carbon neutrally as possible.

We also plant a tree for every order made on Arlan Willow to help make the planet a place we'd like our kids to live in.

We are often asked where the name Arlan Willow originated.

Arlan, from the old gaelic means a pledge and seemed appropriate since the founders have always focused on keeping their word, in business and in life.

Willow, along with being a beautiful wood also derives from a word meaning a 'contained space' and this derivation we associated with the space inside each of our homes.
